User Interview Insight

Users built trust in autonomous ride-hailing services.
Shared mobility needs to provide a stronger sense of personal space and privacy to make riding with others feel as comfortable as riding alone.
Robotaxi should go beyond city transportation, with more accessible, spacious, and purposeful interiors that enable a better experience throughout the journey.

Interior Design

Uber 4One’s interior is designed to encourage riders to unlock more possibilities on the move, enabling passengers to relax, work, or comfortably engage in conversation with others on board.
Seat Design

The seat is designed with easy to maintain in mind. Individually replaceable fabric pads address wear and tear, extending product life and reducing unnecessary waste.

Inspired by lounge and premium-economy seating, the wraparound design and integrated armrest creates an equally defined comfort zone for every rider while preserving an open, communal atmosphere.
Door Panel UI

Essential physical controls are conveniently positioned on the upper door panel within easy reach. Passengers can press the DOOR button to exit or pull the mechanical latch below to slide-open the door if in emergency.
Vehicle Exterior

The symmetrical chassis design enables bidirectional driving for enhanced urban maneuverability, while sliding doors create a spacious, accessible entryway for effortless passenger boarding and exit.
